Resumen

Test frequencies included in a Pure ToneAudiometry may not match with frequency bands assign toeach intracochlear electrode, leading to errors in auditionthresholds measurement. To avoid this is proposed anaudiometer that accepts as input the central frequency of eachintracochlear electrode as is programmed in the SoundProcessor of the Cochlear Implant. The resulting audiometry,so called Extended Audiometry, gives physician a better viewabout patient`s auditory thresholds after adjusting electricalcurrent T level, improving rehabilitation opportunities for thepatient.
