This work deals with the amplitude and latency characterization of the Middle Latency Auditory Evoked Potential (MLAEP) Pa peak in normal subjects. Stimuli were tone pips of 0.5, 1, 2 and 3 kHz for an intensity range of 0 to 40 dBHL. Results show Pa amplitude behavior does not follow a know model, on the other hand, changes in Pa latency due to changes in intensity and frequency of the stimulus can be described by a second order polynomial;  Pa latency decreases as stimulus intensity and frequency decreases.  Methodology used for improving signal to noise ratio for Pa detection may be a tool that contribute to achieve a better Objective Audiometry estimation.
