Resumen

Nowadays most defibrillators have a screen to display ECG signals, with a 12.5 x 7 cm TFT screen. These dimensions constitute the pattern in this medical equipment internationally. However, they reduce the use of this equipment in many applications due to the small viewing area. One of the new uses for defibrillators are a communication through a Bluetooth / USB interface with a PC or a regular laptop, which allows to use the display of this equipment as a viewing area of the ECG signals and other parameters displayed in the defibrillator screen. This characteristic allows widening the applications of defibrillators and guarantees a better image quality in the screen in comparison with the one in the defibrillator.
