Resumen
This document presents the design and implementation of a prototype to measure plantar pressure (static and dynamic) through an insole. The insole has 16 sensors located in the plantar region (heel, metatarsal heads and hallux). For the implementation it was determined the type of sensors to use, the hardware was developed with a signal conversion stage, filter and analog to digital conversion. The results were converted to KPa units. The final interpretation of the pressure values for each sensor is shown in a color graphic. Two tests were performed to analyze the data in 5 healthy subjects; the results show the load behavior in critical areas according to previous investigation, it was found a repetitivity range between 2-14% which assures similar results in same conditions and different times. Finally were determined peak pressures and mean pressure for the prototype.
